ANALYST PROGRAMMER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Location : Gurun, Kedah – 1 vacancy

Division : Information Technology

Reporting to : Senior Executive

Key Roles

  • Analyse user requirements and translate them into software solutions.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to specifications.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.

  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing.

  • Prepares and maintains documentation of applications including user manuals, operation instructions, program specification and descriptions.

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.

  • Controls and monitors user access to databases and ensures application business rules by programming data integrity constraints.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Job & Skills Requirement

  • Possess Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a programmer or software developer, with expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, C#, jquery, PHP,etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g: .Net, Wordpress, Angular).

  • Good understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SLDC) processes and methodology.

  • Experience with database management tools (e.g: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL & MySQL).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

ENGINEER, MAINTENANCE (AUTOMATION)

Location : Gurun, Kedah – 1 vacancy

Division : Maintenance & Facilities

Reporting to : Assistant Manager

Key Roles

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimal levels.

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes through automation, including reducing cycle times and increasing output.

  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules for automated systems to reduce downtime.

  • Develop control strategies, troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, control systems, PLCs, and other mechanical/electrical components.

  • Prepare annual maintenance budget and inventory control including monthly report submission.

  • Involve in manufacturing setup for new plant equipment and production.

  • Ensure integration of new automation systems with existing infrastructure including mechanical, electrical and software system.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, parts inventories, and technical documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in the maintenance process.

Job & Skills Requirement

  • Possess Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Robotics and Automation or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand handling machinery, building facilities and utility.

  • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments and automation technologies including Industry 4.0 is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
